To obtain an account you need an existing Serving Military or MOD Civil Servant user who can sponsor you to have access to Defence Gateway.
They will soon be able to create you a sponsored account by logging into their account, navigating to My Settings and clicking Add Sponsored Account.
Until this is available if you need to register for DLE, you need to find someone who is a minimum of OF3/C2 Rank. They can download a form from the DLE website in the "Support, Make the most of E-Learning"\FAQs section, under "How to create Sponsored DLE user account", which they can use to get you an account.
